I’m Sibo Wang, an engineer at Alibaba, working on financial systems and AI agents. My experience spans international business, AI agents, and finance. Going forward, I plan to focus on AI agent engineering and its applications in business.
I received an MSc in Information Technology from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2025 (full-time, 2024–2025), following a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from Zhengzhou University in 2021 (2017–2021).
I joined Alibaba in July 2021 and have worked there since, with a current focus on financial systems and AI agents. Before that, I interned at Zhongyuan Bank from September 2020 to March 2021, and at Alibaba from May to August 2020.
Outside work, I enjoy running, reading, films, and travel. I share engineering practice and reflections on life through this blog.
